CAMBRIA – Prevention Poster Contest

April 12th , 2023 Meeting – Cambria FireSafe Focus Group

Today the Group continued discussions on the Fire Safe poster design contest. Local Cambria school students are working on designing fire prevention posters. The winners will be selected in three age categories. Contact your local school for details on submissions. The winning designs will be made into a 4′ x 8′ signs and placed in the sign holders around Cambria.

Roberta Vitols reported that flyers have been distributed to all schools in the Cambria area, that a successful poster workshop was held on February 23rd with elementary-age children. People from the Cambria Center for the Arts teamed up with Dave Pierson, Chris Landgreen, Roberta Vitols, and Paulla Ufferheide to put this on. Several posters are already entered into the contest.

All posters will be collected by April 7th for judging. Entries will be on display at the May 6th, 2023 Fire Safety Townhall.
